I have control
Holding onto the dark flowing kite
I decide how far it goes
The weather man warned of the storm
But I am strong
The lightening won't hit my kite
Because I have control
Consuming Me

Years I have made the fire blaze
Heat warming my face and chest
Adding to the flame to build
Others join to help
Log after log is added
They cannot see my feet held tight
The warmth intensifying
But they keep adding more
My skin turning raw and blistered
Screaming I beg them to stop
Damaged looks cross their faces
They stop
Dejectedly watch as the fire consumes me
